The Happy Church is in it's 7th year of existence and is a Fellowship of Grace Brethren Church (fgbc.org).

Because of our ministry focus on children, we have had the priviledge of connecting with other FGBC churches and para-organizations as well as Evangelical Free and Baptist Churches.

Other Christ followers from various denomanational affiliations and even current "non followers" have come along side to help us help others.

We are located in the city of Jackson, county of Breathitt, Kentucky. It is located in the eastern coal field region of the state (Appalachia) which is the poorest region in the country. In 2000 the county population was 16,100 in a land area of 495.19 square miles, an average of 32.5 people per square mile. The average price of a home is just over $20,000.00 (used trailers are the primary homes bought and sold).
