In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Gen 1:1.
After the creation and fall of man we were, and are, born with the desire to satisfy ourselves even when we know it is wrong. The Ten Commandments were given to show us what God expects from us. These commandments expose what is considered right (good) or wrong (sin) by God. Everyone has done wrong and as a result will be found guilty of wrongdoing.
The Good News of Jesus Christ, who was born without sin and never committed a sin, is that he paid the penalty for doing wrong by dying for us -in our place. Then God raised him up from the dead and Jesus visited well more than 500 people AFTER his resurrection! He changed everything and made a relationship with God possible for people everywhere. Millions have found new life - and so can you. Ask God to forgive you and accept the offer of Jesus' payment for your sin. Tell Him you are making Jesus Christ your Lord (Master, Leader). Now it is time for a new beginning! A challenging and yes, sometimes difficult, new direction but with a new power source through God's Holy Spirit that ultimately guarantees success when we trust and obey His word. Ask God to help you find a church near you to start your new journey and feel free to email us and we will help you.
God, who knows everything, knew Adam and Eve were going to sin, that His Son would willingly sacrifice himself, and our world would be a cursed place full of sorrows and hardships for everyone - for a time. But He also knows that this world will end and He will have a faithful people with Him forever. The memories of this world will be gone and multiplied millions will enjoy what lies ahead. Do not choose to be left out. Hell, prepared for Lucifer and his fallen angels, is the only alternative.
Jesus tells us that "anyone who calls on the name of Lord shall be saved". Shall (also interpreted “will”) is a legal term that means it must be done. Again the scriptures say, "Confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord and you shall be saved".
We ask God to be with you and guide you through His word, His Son, and His Spirit. |
